The CTK-900 is an expansive form of the earlier CTK versions and once again, just carries the features that are awe-inspiring and have been created out of some of the best digital and electronic features to be incorporated in a single synthesizer which is fairly compact and readily portable.
The Casio CTK-900 has 61 standard size keys with 5 octaves and touch responses. This synthesizer includes over 300 advanced tones, and 200 preset tones along with the drum sets and about 100 drawbar organ tines amongst others. There is a 32-notes voice polyphony with a maximum of 10 per note. There are 176 rhythm patterns and a tempo that is variable from 30 to 255 steps. There is a 128 step volume control and one touch presets for recalling tempo, layer, tone and split. This synthesizer has a provision to automatically add notes that harmonize with the melody note in accordance with specified auto accompaniment chords. The memory function can hold 5 songs, record 6 in both real time and step methods. The memory can hold up to 10,000 notes. The bank allows to download up to 5 songs.
The CTK-900 has 32 setups with 16 channels which allow a variety of mixing like fine tuning, reverb mixing, octave shifting etc. there are 409 steps to transposing and tuning is allowed with a variation of 440 hertz. There has been a shared Flash memory linked to this synthesizer that allows storage of up to 400 files. This awe inspiring music instrument also has 3 demos which, combined with all the other features make it easy to learn and play piano by enhancing one’s innovative skills and create something out of the ordinary.
The synthesizer functions include attack and release times, resonance and cut off frequency, vibrato type and delay, their depth their shift and touch sense and level etc.
